Why We Built This Site
Minnesota public access has more than one doorway. The Nicollet County District Court keeps the official trial-court record, while Minnesota Court Records Online, known as MCRO, displays an eligible public subset. A register of actions is the chronological case activity record. It is not always the same thing as a certified copy or a full document file.
Nicollet County is part of the Fifth Judicial District, but a county case search starts with the Nicollet court or MCRO rather than the district administrative office. Court Administration can route questions about hearings, copies, family, criminal, traffic, probate, juvenile, and conciliation matters. The distinction helps prevent a request for a court file from being sent to a city office, Sheriff records desk, or federal court that does not hold it.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to a Minnesota court, Court Administration, or government agency. Its limits are important:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for any person.
- It cannot set, reset, or change a hearing date.
- It cannot amend, seal, or remove a court case.
- It cannot issue a certified docket, order, or other court document.
- It cannot offer legal advice about a particular matter.
- It cannot promise that an outside office's hours, fees, or procedures have not changed.
Only the court that maintains the record can provide an official or certified copy. For Nicollet County trial-court records, that route is Nicollet Court Administration.
Search Partners
Some pages carry search boxes supplied by independent providers. Those providers operate their own services, pricing, and result displays. A paid enrollment reached through one of those tools can produce a referral fee for this resource. That arrangement does not place official court data here or give the resource control over a provider's charges, coverage, or results.
